Clean room located in a guarded off a Hutong.
A bit difficult to find and 15min walk from nearest metro station.
Staff is friendly and some speak English.

My mom is currently visiting China for the first time. We spent the weekend in Beijing over the Qing Ming holiday and my mom absolutely loved this hotel. From the furnishings to the comfy atmosphere of a time gone by. This hotel is located in a Hutong area with easy access to Lama temple and Beixinqiao subways, main attraction spots including Wudaoying hutong area, Lama temple and Confucius Temple. The staff were lovely, we flew in late and enjoyed congee soon our arrival. The rooms were stocked with free snacks and water and the facilities were clean and well maintained. We would love to return in the future!

Really nice stay! Location is great, right in the middle of the hutongs and walking distance from Lama temple, Wudaoying Hutong, Houhai and the bell and Drum tower. Staff is kind and helpful (although I don't think they speak English so well). Lots of cafés and delicious restaurants nearby too!

The entrance and the stairs were a bit old, nice to have restaurants close to the hotel but with a bit of noise during the evening.
Good choice if you want to see a more original neighbour close to the lama temple.

Our stay at Nostalgia for 4 nights was basic but good. Location is close to a lot of food options, bars and attractions (also tourists!). Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean enough but just okay. They offer laundry service which is only outerwear and doesn't include dryer as they hang them up to dry. There are several bars downstairs in the courtyard, the beer garden is great. Overall good stay for the price and location.

All was good except that it's located in a hutong, the alley in front of the hotel are packed with parking cars and bicycles. Taking Didi ride we were dropped near the entrance of the alley.

Small rooms but everything you need is there. Unfortunately there was not english speaking employee as promised so the check in and getting some help was kind of tricky even with tranlation apps

Last time I booked this hotel I got a beautiful room, however this time I got a room with windows facing straight at a wall with basically no natural light, and I even paid more … not nice.
